The popular TV series recently renovated and redesigned an upscale condo using Modani Furniture. Cortney and Bob Novogratz, lead designers for the show, recently spent a day shopping inside Modani for the project. There comes a time in every boy’s life when it is necessary to redesign the entire room for a young man. While mom may have nostalgia about her baby growing up, young men’s bedroom furniture is definitely more modern, and not so childlike. Young men have different needs, such as a larger bed to accommodate their growing bodies, more shelf space to store their belongings, and will most likely need a desk.

This works really well in small apartment homes, or bedrooms that are smaller and need to stretch the available space. This takes the bed higher off the floor to allow for other furniture to decorate the bedroom. Sometimes these loft beds can have shelving built in to the bedroom set, but just in case they don’t, be sure to pick up some shelves, or a wall unit to create extra storage space for your young man.
Instead of picking a theme for your young men’s bedroom furniture and accessories, consider using neutral colored furnishings to allow for his changing interests to easily be reflected in the room without busting your budget wide open.
One thing to consider when organizing young men’s bedroom furniture is how much closet space you have available. If you have limited close space, look in into an extra rack to hold clothes so you don’t have to take up too much drawer space which could be used for other belongings.

Modern furniture wishes comes true for California teen with the help of Modani Furniture

Wishes can still come true, especially for one lucky girl in Lynwood, Ca. Modani Furniture is partnering with Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Los Angeles to help create the dream modern bedroom for 14-year-old Jennifer who is bravely battling brain cancer.

Modani Furniture is donating a Galaxy Chair to help grant the teen’s wish. Jennifer requested this modern lounge chair as part of a re-design of her bedroom as her one wish.

“Jennifer will be thrilled to find out that we will be able to provide her with a Galaxy chair. She is very much looking forward to having a modern bedroom to call her own,” said Kirsten Filarsky, wish coordinator. “Modani’s modern collection is exactly what Jennifer had in mind for her bedroom. Our goal is to give Jennifer a comfortable place to come home to, where she can relax, forget about her illness and enjoy being a kid again.”

Modani will be delivered the chair in January so the room will be completed in the New Year.

“We’re glad to help make Jennifer’s wish come true,” said Nathan Cohen, co-owner of Modani. “Make a Wish Foundation is doing great things for the children, so it’s easy for us to want to support their mission.”
