After nine years on the road, I fulfilled my dream of traveling to 100 countries! It's hard to live without a dream, without a goal - so I tried to think of a new dream, but unfortunately things don't always work out this way.
The days passed and as I was traveling through the Philippines in search of a new dream, I found one. Or rather, it found me.
I met 3 Miami businessmen during a trip to Manila, Philippines who turned out to be the owners of the furniture retail chain Modani (www.modani.com). We met again the following day and they gave me an offer I couldn't refuse - an offer which was to become my new dream.
Modani is the official sponsor of "Lonely Peleg"! And that isn't even the good news!
Modani will donate tens of thousands of dollars every year. With that money I can help needy people I meet along the way, undertake projects in the slums that I explore, help out existing organizations, financing programs for children, or even buying glasses for a girl who can't read without them. Modani and I intend to focus on helping children and to invest in their education.
With the sponsorship and donations from Modani, I will have the ability to travel the world, explore new cultures, and share the stories of the people I meet along the way. But at the same time I will also have the ability to help those in need. Through my page, people will be able to take an active part in our projects, contribute and even volunteer with me (don't worry, there will still be trips and parties)!
I believe there are many people in the world who want to help but don't know how, or are afraid that their contribution isn't going to change anything. With our project you could help and be part of something big, and give to those who really need it.
I would like to thank Modani for this opportunity, I love you guys.
With God's help we shall succeed!
