We scaled the original Samana down for smaller dwellings, but the essence of what makes the Samana so charming is still intact. Sal wood planks, purposefully weathered to resemble those used along railways, are configured into a singular unit for one to rest drinks, books, or a vase filled with a beautiful arrangement from an artisan floral shop. A steel base keeps the wood afloat, and the tempered glass has a smooth finish that makes it clear enough to see every fiber of timber.
